OUR PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARI STYLE
Our photographic safaris always focus on tracking wildlife, according to the experience of our guides and of the wildlife photographer who will host the group. To maximize the photographic aspects, there will never be more than two people in each row of the car, which will always be reserved for our small group. Our vehicle will always be positioned in the best way possible, thinking both about composition and light, to allow you to have great shots. Our boats will also be private. We will look for interesting scenes and stick to them as long as possible, in order to make the most out of every possible interaction
A WEEK INSIGHT
We will meet at Maun airport on July 30 in the early afternoon, we will have a quick lunch (Lunch and Dinner in Maun are not included in the price) and we’ll go for a terrific helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta. This is the best way to fully enjoy the Delta and embrace its majesty. After a night in a nice guest house nearby (on a B&B treatment) we will move (private air transfer) deep into the Delta, in an area bordering the Moremi Game Reserve and close to the renowned Chief’s Island. Here we will spend two nights (on full board treatment) and we can experience the waters of Delta, on boat safaris and mokoro excursions (a traditional Botswana canoe) but we could also opt for a walking safari on Chief’s Island. Another plane transfer and we will reach the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve. Two nights on full board treatment with 2 game drives per day (night drives option). The last private air transfer will take us towards the end of our trip with two nights (on full board treatment) in the Chobe National Park where we will have the possibility to choose between game drives and boat safaris. During every stage of the trip we will have two safaris per day (with all activities included in the price) and, depending on the lodge where we’ll be, we will choose which kind of excursions we prefer (on foot, by boat, canoe or by car). On the Morning of 6 August (after one last morning safari and a good breakfast) we will be transferred to the airport for departure. Optionally, you can choose to go back directly from Kasane (very close to Chobe National Park) or to extend your trip for a couple of days at the Victoria Falls, just two hours drive away.
VERY IMPORTANT: Since all transfers will take place in small aircraft, please limit your luggage to a minimum. The weight must not overcoming 20Kg all inclusive (bags plus hand luggage) and the suitcase must be soft (bags are better) with no rigid parts (wheels or similar). Remember that in every lodge a quick and free laundry service is provided.

DON’T LOSE THIS UNIQUE ADVENTURE
OUR PHOTOGRAPHIC TARGETS
The helicopter scenic flight is something unique and unforgettable. Flying over one thousand channels we will be able to come across elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes and lechwe and we may admire them running through the reeds, raising sparkling spray of water. During this trip we will visit two different areas of the Moremi Game Reserve, each of them offering amazing photographic opportunities. The first area is more related to water, where we will look particularly for elephants, hippos, crocodiles and all the aquatic birds. The second area is more related to land, so that we could have some game drive activities, looking for big cats and ,more in general, all the predators that are present in a large number within the reserve (lions, leopards, hyenas and african wild dogs).
The last two days on the Chobe will be a good mix of land and water, with game drives and boat safaris. The main dish is definitely elephants crossing the river, we can photograph them as they swim, play and interact with each other. This area of Botswana boasts the largest concentration of elephants in all Africa, about 120,000 specimens live here. Sunsets are particularly spectacular during this time of the year, the light is golden and the sun is a red ball that descends on the horizon. These conditions are ideal for backlighting and classic scenes of African sunsets. The dark nights of Botswana are extremely good for night photography and star trail. Do not forget to bring a tripod!
We will spend the first night in Maun in a very nice Guesthouse on a B&B treatment. The four nights on the Delta will be in two luxury tented camps. Each room/tent offers every comfort, with private bathroom and a thatched roof, you will experience the feeling of stepping back in time, both camps offer an atmosphere of real and authentic safari experience, something you can’t easily find somewhere else.
We will spend our last two nights on the Chobe River, in a lodge larger then the previous ones, but perfectly located, on the river, a few minutes from the entrance of the Chobe National Park and fully equipped for our game drives and boat activities.
